Not horrible, just plain average but has potential. Study some cats instrumentals very closely like Pete Rock, 9th wonder, J Dilla, Madlib, etc. Gather ideas from them and check out the mixing styles. What you learn from them will allow you to make your own original beats better. Youtube has a lot of great tutorials from various artists.

who wants to study someone else's style, wasn't J.Dilla's whole appeal "being original". I don't want to remind people of 9th, dilla (etc) because my music sounds like theirs, if anything I wanna remind you of them because I stuck with my own style like they did/do.

Willie Green is a decent producer. His "Of Heroes and Villains" has some good beats. I like #10. on this but would agree that overall, there's too much voice-sampling on these beats.

Track #15. is tiiiiight!!

CONSTRUCTIVELY CRITICIZING..you don't have to copy anothers style but learn what makes their music great. inspiration never hurts anyone, even the best producers will tell you they were inspired by someone else stuff

"Learn what makes their music great" I'm pretty sure it's originality. Dilla inspired a bunch of artist but that inspiration doesn't/shouldn't manifest into their music sounding like they just stole his style
