Love how empancipator has perfected his sound, and sticks with it. If you liked his last album(s), you'll like the new album(s).
Every time I read about some producer who's talking about completely reinventing his/her sound with a new album -- and producing something unlistenable, while losing an audience -- i'm reminded of how refreshing this actually is.
They're completely different producers, but you know a Premier beat when you hear it, and he almost always comes fresh. The true innovators find a signature without being completely repetitive. Imagine if Shadow had figured that out after Endtroducing?
