suggestion #1.USE the search engine at the top left hand side of the blogspot to SEARCH for isntrumentals/beat maker, also check Acapellarchives.blogspot secondly.
suggestion #2.make an image file to show track list'/artists
lastly. below a 'poll/questionnaire'. answer any way you'd like in the comment section.
what can be done to make this site better? or keep this site good? also, what should be stopped from being done?(things like putting the artists name in text of a post(that is a sure way to get a link deleted for some artists/labels) ...
SO all in all... the comment section of this post, WILL be a SUGGESTION BOX, give reasoning... thanks.

respect the artists and dont push the issue. if someone posts something in the c box thats another issue. but the blog should stay free of drama ala going against the artists wishes.
this site is too ill to be taken down and it has a good following and dope contributors and non-official contributors like "SouL" and "thebeattapes", who both always post HEAT.
i love this site.
let me be a contributer so i can post that stuff people request
goodblahgood@yahoo.com
I want to cut a deal, don't know if you have these titles.
I have vol. 2 of the Now-Again music Library and the promo album of OH-NO vs. the oneness of JUJU.
I can put up high quality mp3's 330kb for a trade of
Now-Again music Library vol. 1 and vol. 3.
Can you get these???
just asking.
peace.
keep doin what youre doin. the site is still off the hook.. ppl are just bitchin cuz every post isnt filled with bangers.
i personally think some of the post are pretty lame.. for example, i remember seeing a 50cent post and a lil wayne post. def not my cup of tea....
get rid of goodwill cause he is a homo.
Thank you for asking!
When it comes to relatively unknown artists, it would be nice if they could be presented in a more paced manner (and also not in giant batches).
Maybe contributors could limit the posting of "unknowns" and "demos" (no offense meant) to one per contributor per week. Is that so much to ask? Just give those of us with limited time the chance to actually be able to listen to them.
If I didn't care about what people post... If I didn't respect the contributors... I would ask this. I simply get overwhelmed and it becomes more and more difficult to find music I enjoy. Again... this is not a complaint, but simply honest feedback.
I think this might also achieve a balance between the newer and older material that different segments of visitors are more into.
my first suggestion: keep putting up what yr feeling, cuz there's so much good stuff here.
my second suggestion: maybe put up a bit more "outsider" stuff. like, weirder...not just underground, but actually stuff that's more unusual and not even remotely like the mainstream.
otherwise thx for such a great blog, yo.
^^^ Agreed. I'm down to listen to some (good) experimental ish, if you've got it. These last few updates have been damned good tho.
this blog is damn gooooood thing, I knowledge many great producers from this blog. Love jazz & soul stuff. Seven Leaf 1love!
Keep doing what you guys are doing! It is a pretty well rounded blog in my opinion. I dont mind the beattapes as long as they are not total garbage, which they havent been at all. Some better than other of course. Its great being exposed to talented producers who are either virtually unknown, from foreign countries or both. Just to name a few that I have discovered thrrough the blog: Metawon,Phaseone,Dzehm,Fama,Slow and the list goes on...
Suggestion: How about adding a rating system to each post. You know a 0-5 star rating system. That way all visitors have to do is click on the number of stars they feel the drop deserves. That way the contributors get feedback.
Oh and one more thing. I had no idea that Boogie is only 18! LOL, that explains alot :-) Keep doing what your doing kid!
The blog is fine. Which ever way the governing body decides to do with it, then so be it. People will always complain; let alone feel as if they need to play a role in something. As long as music is being posted, nu-jazz, experimental, the "heat", etc, then everything else is secondary. Free beats, all's right with the world.
get rid of espiv
keep goodwill
derrrr
Only suggestion i have make a collectors account on rapidshare because many old links are dead and if you have a collectors account there infinitive active
(excuse me if my english sucks im dutch)
Anon, really needs to get off my nuts.
Anything off of the Ninja Tune label, or similar material.
keep it the way it is show case artists from all around the country
interview ...plug shows where the artist might be playing keep it grassroots
could we get the instrumentals to black milk's new tronic?
#1 let people know this is for suggestions, not for s*ckin d*ck or a*s kissing.
#2 have some sh*t where you could hear a snippet of of a song or two... it would help decide what is worth having, especially for some of that experimental or homegrown sh*t
I think the blog is dope as it is.
I Would like to see soul as a contrubutor.. i dont know if he even wants this. but he always post dope shit imho.
Im fine posting the beattapes i have in the c box.
The one thing i cant stand is the spaming that people do in thet cbox. there nothing you can do about that ...
upload on rapidshare or megaupload.. dont use sendpsace! sendspace is only availabe for some people! it sucks!
its all good you know,... But i do love the golden classic stuff so any more of that typa ish is always appreciated!
espive and fagwill need to go...
Contributors i would just suggest you to please
LEAVE SENDSPACE AND MEDIAFIRE.
You should stay on rapidshare, megaupload and zshare if you don't want to reupload yur stuffs every weeks.
All your work is great.
Wide range of instrumental genre that's good.
I'd like to see more folders made by the contributors of stuff they especially like and listen to. robsteady did this back in the day with "the instrumentals" and "piano beats" (that was one of the nicest folders to me), and djespionage did more recently with his downtempo instrumental hip hop collection.
If, like me, you don't have unlimited disk space and unlimited listening time, you're gonna let a lot of regular posts go by.
So I would like to see things like: contributors posting little folders of their favourites or classics; posts of folders with a certain mood, or that give the poster the same feeling somehow; posts on a theme, like underground NY 90s instrumentals, for instance; stuff like that. I don't think there's any pressure to focus on the fresh and new and unheard. I would much prefer if i knew there was some serious investment in the tunes from the posters, and that the tracks had been picked out of a bunch of stuff based on personal taste.
Other things you could do: samplers compiling favourite international stuff, stuff from croatia and france and germany and hungary and so on, that people may not take a chance on for a full album from one artist. Samplers of the best unknown beatmakers stuff would work too, so ppl could see what catches them without dling & listening to tons of stuff. And best of the month samplers, where posters collab and drop five songs each (or whatever) of stuff they have posted that month. And an end of year wrap-up would be nice, of the stuff that came out this year.
Well, you did ask.

I follow this blog for quite some time now, it's great! keep it going!
Sheeeit. No complaints. You guys are doing a damn good thing.
Some of you kids need to learn about sharebee.com tho. One upload, four links, you do the math. This rapidshare BS drives me up a fucking wall.
I think it would be a good idea to have some sort of way for your blog viewers to submit some of their own stuff for download. I'm sure there are plenty of talented beatmakers who check this blog that would like to have their material get more notice. I've been trying to get in contact with someone involved with this blog for a long time and can't even find an email address.
Whassup with z-share?
Why does when it gets to the countdown for the link to appear, then, once I click the link for the file- it returns to the original splash page instead of accessing the download?
It's happening on every site that has a z-share hosted file!
Am I the ONLY one experiencing that?
Sorry for turning the suggestion box into a techie forum/Q&A
@soulguru, yes i am encountering that all the time. I read somewhere that they had some kind of server snafu and a lot of files from before Oct. 08, 2008 got wiped, leading to this behaviour. Not sure about that, since it feels like i've had problems trying to grab newer files than that, but at any rate it's not just you.
dq.
When it comes to hosting, nothing is "free". There's always a cost, whether it's reliability, your time, or the frustration of end users.
RapidShare, without question, has the best service of all the hosts used on this site and others. You will not hear about across-the-board dead links at RapidShare. And that's because people actually pay for the service.
If you use an ad-based service... expect to get fucked. If you use an ad-based service, expect your links to go dead in a short period of time.
post more NoSleep stuff. your beats are off the hook cuz
jeah. More NoSleep. and what happened to "politics and bullshit" mayne?
