Ok fellow beatmakers, I got a BIG project in the works with Japanese label/distributor River City Music Entertainment AND NEED YOUR HELP! A couple weeks back, i was asked to help put together a compilation project. I'm looking for some mellow, jazzy, hip-hop beats/arrangements... basically, think of the sound mastered by the late, great Nujabes (R.I.P.) Tracks with vocals are definitely welcomed too, but again, the vibe is very chill so nothing too aggressive. A good point of reference for what River City wants to do can be heard in the very popular series "In Ya Mellow Tone"; Check out 1 of my favorite cuts from the latest installment below...
If you think you got something that may fit this compilation, drop it in my Soundcloud Dropbox and if i like it, i'll submit it to the folk over at River City for inclusion. Aside from major overseas exposure to your music, all participating producers/artists selected will be featured on my radio show, SUBSONiQ, as well. Submission deadline = JULY 12th!!!
