Check out this Mydus, (its was a part of gloam's big bandcamp post)
It reminds me of madlib when he still made good beats! any of you hear similarities besides that sample that madlib also uses

There is nothing here that you would want to hear more than once. There is nothing here you can tell someone else to listen to. (unless you want someone to think you can't tell the difference between that fly ish versus experimental garbage)

Cop this only if you are a download junkie that fiend for free stuff. Otherwise, continue to seek and explore elsewhere.

Taster's Choice is dope... The rest was average in my opinion.

There are a lot of opinionated people on this site, lol! This tape is a great example of thinking outside the box, just like beat-ape said, it definitely has that Madlib feel to it. You know what they say about beer, it's an acquired taste, well, so is this kind of music. All said and done, this album is unique clean and fresh, that's why it was posted. Good beats are few and far between, people need to broaden the genres they listen to. Much respect to those who actually sat and listened to the music composition, instead of finger flipping through tracks.

Hey Gloam, I made the very first top comment above. Sorry you feel that I wrote one of the most ignorant paragraphs you ever seen. But comment is my opinion.

I would like to consider myself a "GENRELESS" music lover of all sorts. From classic rock such as Boston, Rush, Led Zeppelin, Electric Light Orchestra to classic and new hip hop & electronica such as Flying Lotus, Mono/Poly, DePhazz, Hudson Mohawke, Black Milk, Apollo Brown, Madlib, etc, I think I am certified to recognize (in your words) outside the box music.

But just because it's (in your words) outside the box does not mean that it is dope, fly, slammin, crankin, bangin, slick or on point. So let me clearly say this directly to you, this is experimental GARBAGE.

And the next time you even think about mentioning a GOD such as Madlib among crap like this, I suggest you throw on some sun tan lotion and take in some sun rays son. Just because Drake is tearing up the charts, lightskin is not back you sensitive pretty Christopher Williams muther (SHAFT... SHUT YOUR MOUTH)

Well first off I'm glad you graduated from Ebonics 101, a very bold statement coming from one such as yourself. Ignorance is truly bliss coming from such a recalcitrant member of our society. Your certified to nothing and your opinion is subject to change. Your an elitist who tries to justify opinions with said experience. Who doesn't enjoy Madlibs music? Some of the shit on this album reminds me of Lootpack to the core. I'm sorry to blaspheme in the presence of an individual who isn't man enough to show his face. It's great that your a GENRELESS music lover, as you so put it, but right now we are talking about experimental hip-hop. Boston, Rush, they have nothing to do with the conversation. I didn't say the album was excellent, but it certainly isn't bad. If you think it's garbage, you need to re-tune your eardrums. LOL, feel free to reply to this one as well, it seems as though you like to argue. Give me a brake, I haven't heard one bar from Drake.

I will admit, we are having some nice weather around here. I might catch some rays.

(brake) should be spelled "break" (your) should me spelled (you're).

and you want to call someone ignorant now. chill gloam.

i actually expected a bit more for this one, since his productions for BLACK SUNN and 810 were so good that i wished they were all instrumentals instead. but this one is him definitely experimenting with and chopping samples to molecules til they sounded like a mad beat. i'm sure it required a lot of skill and hours to do, and the solid theme is there from start to finish, just lacks a bit more spark. can't really pinpoint what it is exactly. still, much better than anything else the mainstream producers are releasing and selling out there right now. I'd still give this 4 out of 5! good job!
