yo i read about the odd summer joint and it was saying he was from africa. i thought it was a different cat but it just dawned on me that he made the move to africa.
when i met him in 2005 he said he was planning a 5-10 year plan to move to africa permanently. looks like he made it. great to see him living his dream.

Oddisee has strong ties to Africa because his father is from the Sudan. I believe Oddisee has visited his father's homeland quiet a bit.
