Vocal Beater Mobile App

My homie Mike Gao's been developing a project for quite some time now called Vocalbeater, he recently had it released through Itunes, and the buzz it's getting is almost overwhelming.

Vocal Beater allows one to make beats at or away from home by beat
boxing with your mouth. You can then send it via email and have it waiting for you in your email inbox. Turn your beatbox into a VELOCITY SENSITIVE MIDI FILE!!!!!

You can edit what
each drum hit is as well, and train the app with your own individual beatbox sounds.

Watch the video below for more info.

Mike Gao - Fullspeed ( Full Track Used In Movie )

To purchase Vocalbeater click here:

PLUS It's only 2.99 - Can't beat that, make your live show even liver!

Also just so yall know, i've been working on a project called GorillaMic (on the side of FreestyleMadness, StrictlyBeats, & my music) -

So if you've submitted music to me and haven't seen it posted, don't worry - I have received it, chances are because im so busy running around like a chicken with my head cut off right now, it'll be a week or three til I can up some of the stuff. (note: I listen to things completely before I post them here.)

In the meantime, we've put together this instrumental compilation featuring some of the dopest instrumental-hiphop from some of the most skilled heads in the production game. I respect and appreciate these guys creative contributions and limit-pushing, bar-raising standards. This comp from start to finish is a guaranteed 2hour eargasm. (Next volume, hopefully we can feature other cats whom I also feel are pushing the limit ex; elaquent, aspect1, thavius beck, j. bizzness, 2hungrybrothers, animoss, exile, dibiase, k-the-i and countless others)

featuring: Mike Gao, Stoupe, Glen Porter, Dutch, Blockhead, Bonobo, The Avalanches, Glue, Quantic, Maker, MeatyOgre, Daddy Kev, Sixtoo, Dan The Automator, 12bit, SuffDaddy, DJ D-Styles, Cold Legistics, Kankick, Strad, Shitao, Son Of A Bricklayer, Mayer Hawthorne, Portishead, DJ Muggs, Dust, DJ Babu, DJ Rhettmatic, and a few others.

Google any of the names mentioned above to show support and purchase their projects in circulation. The only way we can continue to elevate and have increasingly better music released is if the mediums inwhich they come out on have some foundation. . . These guys don't eat ramen noodles for a year while they make an album to drop it and feel like they wasted a year.

E. Super

Incase yall aren't hip with this LA Based Producer Crew (E.Super) - You should get familiar, allow me to put you up on game quickly. Super is a 4-man production collaborative effort on Hellfyre Records(Nocando) beneath AlphaPup(DaddyKev) made up of: Alwayz Prolific, AlphaMC, Kuest1, and Maestroe all talented in their own right, it's just a matter of power in numbers for the listener here, whether you catch a set with 2 of 4, or 4 of 4, you know it'll be a good time with that head-nod high-quality gritty yet smooth sound. I'd post more of their stuff but I truly don't have enough of it myself (or atleast stuff that can be released freely and promoted here and @ the other spots I run.). So with that being said, check out the following links, show some support and if you like it, you'll buy it. period.

Dibiase - Lumberjack

This fall is looking to be a big season for debut albums, and if there's any scene with a wealth of up-and-coming producers hungry to release their first record, it's the LA beat scene. Even though tunesmith Dibiase has been at the music-making game for over half a decade now, his debut LP, Machines Hate Me, is just now set to see the light of day. "Lumberjack" is the first track to make it off that record, and exhibits the producer working overtime on his herky-jerky, MPC-based beats rife with crackling, melodic sample work. Catch 14 other of Dibiase's rhythmic concoctions when Alpha Pup drops Machines on September 14.

Something shared by Peggy Payne

click here for a video and editorial

the video is not about sound quality it is to me, to personalize the impression.

I wanted to share her review and words with you all, so here they are.

She's truly a wonderful person and writer, i think many of you would enjoy some of the books she's written and also her blog, so enjoy;)

here's an excerpt from her post

"The crowd was wonderfully multi-cultural and diverse. Directly in front of me for much of the time, was a scrawny young guy in yarmulke with the fringes of his prayer shawl hanging out from under his T-shirt. He danced almost continuously -- and well!--"

I imagine some of you may find some way to turn this post sour in the comment section, so for those that obtain that i want to say thanks a lot for your souring effort because i guess there must be balance.

here is her official website

and here is a few titles of the books she has written.

Doncaster: A legacy of personal style

if you've read any of them then please feel free to give a review.
